The Ibanez RC220 Roadcore Electric Guitar Transparent Cherry is a 6-string model released for NAMM 2017 that incoporates a classic, retro design with modern playability. The Roadcore's individual round-profiled neck facilitates comfort and playability with a responsive and familiar feel. This guitar is equipped with custom-designed Core-Tone pickups that produce a warm, yet cutting sound.
An RC maple neck is fitted to this guitar via a traditional plate joint featuring a metal plate with four screws. The RC220 has an all-slab body with dual binding to deliver a classic look and vintage vibe. Sure Grip knobs are included to enable precise control with nonslip functionality along with a smooth, classic look.
